Hacking New yet not new at Wii Hacking and need help!!!!!

can some point me in the direction of a guide for that fix? I looked around but can't find one

Well I can writte a guide here but you still need to search for either "Oct23rd FIX" thread or "3.1-3.4 Twilgiht/Downgrade/Gamma", ok my guide:

Use Wad Manager 1.3 and install IOS16
Use Custom Wad Manager to install either cIOS_fix.wad or ios249_r7.wad
Use cIOS Downgrader 1.2, select 3.2U and hit A, check for NO ERROR on screen
Use IOS Downgrader 1.0 and just hit A, check for NO ERROR on screen
Use the cIOS installer only if you installed the cIOS_fix.wad, if you installed the ios249_r7.wad, that means you're done...!!!

If you haven't updated your your Wii since the installation of the backup launcher 0.1, do the following:
- run the DVDx installer and select uninstall
- delete IOS249 with AnyTitleDeleter
- delete the 0.1 channel, if you have one, with the WAD Manager
- install WiiGator's or Waninkoko's cIOS36rev7
- DON'T INSTALL DVDX!
- have fun

As you can see my instructions were: "If you haven't updated your your Wii since the installation of the backup launcher 0.1 [...]", if you could install 0.1, your Wii accepted trucha signed stuff, and then the installation of the cIOS would have been no problem. I guess you updated after this.

Ether, I sucessfully installed IOS16.wad and cIOS Fix.wad. So now the next step is downgrading (which I will pick up in your "3.1-3.4 Twilgiht/Downgrade/Gamma" TUT correct?
