    First impression: the exploding box art is awesome.

    The extra swag is a nice touch to the new edition.

    I don't know the exact details (I've never used any version of the EZ-V), but it's definitely a different cart. People seemed to be having a lot more problems with the new EZ-V than with the old one, but I don't know if this has been sorted out yet or not.

    For the record, this isn't particularly "new", and was introduced almost 5 months go.

    Its not "new". Been out for a few months. Functionally the same as the previous model: uses same firmware, etc.

    It is actually a great product if you want just roms and homebrew on it. Not one rom or homebrew application I have thrown at it has failed. If you want all the bells and whistles (real-time saves, cheat codes, etc) this isn't right but like I said if you just want roms and homebrew it is great. The forums at the official site are also very good
