New trailers for upcoming Quantic Dream-published titles 'Under the Waves', 'Lysfanga' & 'Dustborn' aired
While known for in-house developed titles such as Detroit: Become Human, Quantic Dream also publishes third-party titles under the 'Spotlight by Quantic Dream' label. The company aired three trailers for its upcoming games during Gamescom, namely Under the Waves, Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior and Dustborn.
Experience a surreal adventure in the depths of the North Sea -- and the human psyche. Under the Waves is a narrative-driven adventure game about the engulfing power of grief. Set in the depths of the North Sea in the techno-futuristic 1970s, professional diver Stan is struggling to overcome a life-changing loss and embrace a new future.
The isolation of the deep sea is a fitting manifestation of his state of mind, and as Stan retreads further into his self-imposed solitude, he starts to experience strange events far beneath the waves. He will eventually have to make a difficult choice...
Developed by Parallel Studio, Under the Waves launches on August 29 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.
The game revisits the classic hack‘n’slash concept, with a tactical twist: you control Imë, a powerful heroine who can summon clones from her past to help her battle hordes of enemies, in countless arenas. Tailor-made for speedrunning, Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior is also a perfect fit for those looking for a unique action experience!
The brainchild of Sand Door Studio, Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior will be coming to PC in early 2024.
