Hardware New to the 3DS, quick couple questions

Hello all,

Let's just start this off by saying, I've looked around, and haven't found answers yet, so I wanna ask these questions here.
So, I'm looking into buying a 3DS. Before I do so though, I need to re-assure myself of a couple things.

For starters, I wanted to know if the 3DS Can play MP3 music files. Reason being that I am trading my old Android phone in to get the 3DS, And since that phone is my current MP3 player, I would need a new one.

Secondly, I wanted to know if the SD Slot was capable of reading Micro SD Adapter cards.

And thirdly was, if it CAN read Micro SD, What's the largest size card the 3DS can handle as of this moment in time.

Your help would be greatly appreciated guys!
