Homebrew New to switch hacking scene. What else should I add?

Hello. I'm slowly but surely trying to figure out new things to do on my switch, but the community is Soo vast and there's Soo many things that I'm not sure what else I should be adding to further better the switch.
Currently all I've done so far is use the newest version of atmosphere and been messing with new themes which I very much enjoy.
What should I add to my switch from here? I see people having all sorts of other apps on their switch but not sure what everything does. Thank you.

-I use pplay for playing multimedia on Switch
- nx-mtp to connect the switch to a PC to transfer files faster
-Checkpoint to extract and/or restore game saves
-Retroarch to emulate your old games

Some others, but for me those are pretty good highlights.

make sure your on emunand
back up a clean nand
nx game card installer lets you install games onto the switch
goldleaf for installing game patches among other things
Mario 64 - If you like it that is.
