pretty much i guess you could use priiloader to make 4.2 use IOS80?

so what needs to be tested?

hackmii installer
trucha bug restorer
indiana pwns
smashstack

anything else?
Checking that IOS249 and 222 can be reinstalled over the new stubs with TBR and also that they can be used (I seriously doubt there'll be any issues here).

I'd say AnyTitle Deleter Mod, but it's not really needed any more and the download link is broken if you don't have it already.

And is it confirmed it doesn't update boot2 if you are already at boot2v4?

he wouldve used the indiana pwns exploit or the smashstack exploit
I assume that is the case, but some people think Bannerbomb is part of the HBC Installer, and if that's the case here, then the post means nothing.

umm.. your right Dr. clipper

and one more thing darkcorp don't work anymore on 4.3u

i updated and gives me an error in te middle of the update, restated then i'm on 4.3u but darkcaorps still works by that time. then updated again and it kill's darkcorp this time.

i was bored

I saw that they updated all of the other non-stub IOS as well - does anyone know what was changed? The only other time they did that was the trucha bug fix update, does anyone know if this update patches another exploit (which one?) or actually improves performance?

all I have to say its driving me insane.. I usually have to upgrade my system's when they come in to be modded.. 4.2U is the usually today did everything as usual gave me that error 4 and i was like wtf 4.3?!?! I pray someone fixes the bannerbomb.. I can confirm bannerbomb as to not work no version of it.. I cannot confirm nor deny the indiana pwns or the smash stack.

Yes you're right, I somehow missed this wiimpersonator report. But still, the question remains, what was changed? They don't update all their IOSes for fun, the last all-IOS update massively overloaded their servers and it probably will this time too.

ive been messing with the system ( not the NUS crap I dont know how to do that) but the system runs and acts as if nothing has changed whatsoever.. no performance boost.. nothing... I hate nintendo (at times)

Consequences: (Copied from WiiBrew)
* Deletes the Homebrew Channel and DVDX, title IDs HAXX, DVDX, JODI, DISC, and DISK.
* Now uses IOS80.
* IOS254 stubbed BootMii is deleted.
* Fixed Bannerbomb less stupidly this time.
* Added IOS58.
* Overwrite cIOS's 222, 223, 249, and 250 (oddly not 224 yet)
* Removed ability to use Riivolution.
Does it overwrite 250 properly now or just attempt to overwrite like it used to?

And the BootMii reference is only the IOS version, right? If you have it as boot2 on boot2v4, then it should stay there...

ha, if homebrew channel gets updated, i can safely update and restore my cios's, the reason is when i used TBR i installed the patched ios36 to slot 236 instead

It's possible that you could do that with 250 too, unless Nintendo changed their method for stubbing to ignore the existing version number. Oh, and anyone with Hermes v5 in the 224 slot will also have a technique to reinstall the other IOSes.
