The game works great, thanks for the instructions! I'd never used Wiiscrubber or any alt-dol before so I was kinda lost.

I do have one question though, when the NTSC version eventually comes out (I like to keep all my games the same region, don't ask me why), will I be able to use this main.dol or will I have to wait for an NTSC alt-dol?

u probably dont need to re-downlaod it, just re-transfer it to your wbfs drive

I burned 5 DVDS! All of them didnt work.

The post you quoted is talking about a USB Hard Drive. Not DVDs, I suggest trying out a HDD Loader. All you need to do it for just this game would be a 500mb USB Drive

I followed the instructions in the 1st post to replace the main.dol and scrub the iso. copied to hdd and run with coverfloader works perfect. i have 4.0 wii nstc and did not update IOS53. ran the iso thru wii UI to remove the update and region patch to NTSC. i like to be sure about the updates

game runs fullscreen and looks like fun. cheers to the guys who made this work.

i have read all the post , and finally i have tried your patch with usbloader gx. i have loaded the laternate dol from sd after riname it with id game. now i have played until 1-3 world, about 40min of gaming, and everything is ok.
so i m here to say thanks to all guys for your hard job and for this nice solution.

Glad to hear theres no need tu update IOS53 with sys 4.0 (havent try, working rigth now), just a question, are you using cios rev14?? im still in rev10 (havent had any problem with any game) and im want to be prepared in case the game doesnt run.......

Do you just get a green screen that shortly redirects you to your Wii Menu? That's what I get.

That's exactly what's happening for me too. Hopefully someone will find a way to play it from a DVD.

same here. I have xzxero old method softmod 4.1 NTSC-U Wii using neogamma R7 same result. Tried the normal IOS and change the main.dol no luck.Got the Fix version and no luck either. Any HElp please?

Don't bother with Dolphin. It doesn't really work for now.

You dont need to resave anything.

Open the original scrubbed ios of the game and find the main.dol file right click on it and select replace then choose the new modified main.dol and replace the original with it and your done.

Downloaded a fix Par2 file for this and applied it to my iso file, now working a like a charm on configurable loader. Great game, gives me the same feeling as the first time i played super mario bros on the nes!!!

Has anyone with a PAL-Wii 'PAL-Borders' with the alternative DOL? (I'm using configurable USB-loader 47b-fat)
The Menu, Home Menu and title screen are fullscreen, but ingame has additional borders on top and bottom. Is this a NTSC/PAL screw-up? (Playing in PAL60 with RGB cable on 16:9 CRT).

+1 on a 16:9 lcd. so i guess it's not supposed to be that way
