Once, I saw a spanish Youtube channel, where a guy hacked MY hack xD
Using my tilesets, my ingame fonts etc. (without giving credit of course)
It's ok, I don't see any reason to bitch around, more the opposite, it's cool to see that someone liked it! (or some Let's Player)

I'm getting credited in almost each "popular" NSMB hack... Believe me, I often asked myself why I'm getting credited...
Some jealousy guys say... I'm using crappy "original" tilesets, my level-designs are bad, my levels too hard, star coins hidden for cyborgs... etc.
So I was wondering, WHY me?

Now I know it! I'm the MAIN source for inspiration...
My trailer has almost 1,100,000 views on Youtube (that's hilarious)
Some guys call me even "god" (or Voldemort xD) [lol?]

I said this often, I was inspired from the great "gridatttack", when I saw his hack, I just thought WOW!! (and jeggbert5 too to be honest)
So I'm giving credit to them EVERYTIME, because they are the roots of NSMB3!! Without these guys, you never would know "SKJmin"...

It's always better to use the own throughts and ideas, but when you add and add so many things you get out of ideas...
Except when you need 3 years for 80 courses
I couldn't make 80 different courses (including challenges)

I spent a lot of time doing Adventure Super Mario Bros and then a stranger comes along and steals my stuff without asking and WORKING. It's like stealing a Homepage or something. Has any progress been made yet, or is this hack going to end up in the pile of forever unfinished, abandoned NSMB hacks?

I hope you're planning on balancing remade content with your own content, because there are too many hacks out there that are just straight-up ports of other Mario games.

(Of 6 NSMB hacks finished and released, my two are the only original ones (by that I mean not remakes), and one of them is plain sh*t anyway)

You hacked a game so that people could get more enjoyment from it, then you go Buzz Killington on others wanting to do the same thing. Just take the stick out of your ass and let the guy use your damn shell, at least he credited you for it―which is more than you'd get from some people.

When it's a good "remake", then it's always welcome!
I personally think, thast the most important thing of a remake is that the remake has advanced "old" courses!
For example som added pipes who lead to a new content or a challenge!
Making a 1:1 is by far the most stupid thing which can be made...

Hm yeah, you are talking about DOING the same. Not stealing. If he asked, I wouldn't have a problem with this. Anyways, I don't give a shit about ASMB anymore, since I stopped it a while ago. He should ask dirbaio first, if he can use the ASM hack, too.

I wanted something different in my hack, something that would be marked in the history of the NSMB Hacking.
I was a big fan of yours, but now I realize how their personality is different than what I expected.
And by the way but I will not need your "Flying shell", I will not need to hack something you "touched"

The best way to make "history" is to make everything on your own!
