Anyone knows a free pic editor that supports transparency? Some front bg we implemented look gray since transparency messed up

photoshop is really expensive (like 100$ now) not free

Bad news. The front BG we were trying to implement wouldnt show transparency, even if in an image editor showed transparency

A primary background previously made to be imported into NSMB failed to display transparency in-game after being imported, despite showing transparency correctly in an image editor. We also have another surprise, that of which is to do with the 'NSMB' hack gridattack and I are making.

If anyone cares, or you still haven't found a free pic editor that supports transparency. Try out Gimp, Its basically photo shop but free and with a bit of a different GUI.

He's already said he has gimp... And we told him how to use transparency too

I think the importing is not perfect or the guy who made the BG didnt took an original extracted one, wich has transparency......ill guess thats the error, Ill investigate more.

Yes its 6-3 from smb. at some part is hard
