I might throw a few level ideas your way, but by no means do I want to join the team for this. I'm busy enough with school.

Hello Gbatemp,

I'm one of the nsma team.

We are looking for graphic artists who are capable of designing and creating backgrounds and tilesets. If you wish to join our graphics department, send one of the team members one of your pieces of work

Also a quick update:
-NO it's not dead.
-Some levels are finished
-We are currently hard working in the music and the imaging departement, but we can still use more people

There's also an update coming: what it will be, you'll see.
So stay tuned or something like that.

you could have announced it when it's finished...
but I don't want to make a discussion out of this

just do as you feel and keep up your good work(watched the trailer and it looks good so far )

Fair enough, no argument necessary

Just people are generally excited to be working on a hack like this, and generating buzz and talk by showing off hard work can be both fun and motivating. It is also a great way to recruit more talent who want to assist in completing the project.

I really miss in NSMB the good multiplayer mod of the Nintendo DS game version.
On the Wii the multiplayer modus is useless,...

Is it possible to port the multiplayer modus where you have to collect stars to win from the DS to the Wii??

Maybe another group already is working on this?

How is the Wii Multiplayer "Modus" useless? It's vastly improved from the DS version, just instead of stars you collect coins.

This project isn't dead, though you may think so. Progress has just been slow. Our hack is now hosted at rvlution.net on its own board. We're still recruiting level designers (not needed as much), composers, artists, and of course, coders. If you're patient you may see a trailer soon...
