Gaming new sonic racing game and update

kinda new to xbox360 scene, the wii games just got too boring and are for the kids so finally got a modded 360. have played a bunch of games w/ no problem but when burning sonic and inserting , it said this game needs an update to play, do u want to hit a or not hit b. what is this update , ive never seen this w/ ant other games ive burned and having a wii still at 3.2 and knowing all the problems w/ updating , i dont want all the other games i have not to work if i update what do i do? thanks

Such updates are usually ones bundled in the disc and they are required to play (indeed until the rebooters were made it was the main downside to homebrew).

When you say modded though

If you mean flashed DVD drive then go ahead- no update will trouble this ever.

If you mean JTAG hack then I would leave it alone, some people have had trouble with this sort of thing.

I am slightly curious- pretty much every game (with a few notable exceptions) since left 4 dead 2 has been wave 6; this might be a wave 7 game.
