Gaming New smash brothers card version?

So I bought a new copy of smash brothers from my local store today, because it supposedly had firmware 9.2.0U on the newer card revisions, and to my surprise the 3DS wanted to update to 9.9.0U. I haven't seen any information on a smash brothers USA card carrying anything higher then 9.2.0U, and its not mentioned on 3dsdb.com, could this be a new card revision?

You should have asked around before buying. Newer than 9.2 smash has been around a while.

Bummer, I thought that 3DSDB.com was up to date. Glad returns are a thing. Thanks for the info.

eShop update you can just delete update data. Also the vulnerability was indeed already fixed in the latest smash update
