Hacking New SD card

A friend has hacked his wii, to the point of getting HBC on the Wii menu.

But then he wiped his SD card (no idea why), and wants to get playing.
Whats the minimum he needs on his card?

I've got CFG USB loader, Hermes 222v5 installer.

What else needs to be on the card in order for it to work?

The absolute minimum is (after the thing is hacked properly) nothing.

If you've got a FAT32 partition on your hard drive, you can put CFG USB loader on USB:\apps\ just as well as on SD:\apps\. You might need to update the HBC for that, but in the later versions, you can just press '1' and choose 'USB device'.

Both the HBC itself and Hermes installer are only needed for the installation itself. After that, they remain on the nand (=the wii's hard drive) and require neither an SD card or USB drive. Even the newer versions of priiloader can have all their stuff stored on the USB drive or nand (I think this still needs a hacks.ini or hacks_hash.ini on the root of a FAT32 drive, though I'm not sure).

The only thing I can think of where you really need an SD card is for backing up and restoring your nand with bootmii. But you won't be doing that every day, and if you need to, all that is needed is the SD:\bootmii folder with the proper content.
