Update: A new logo is being implemented and is working on a real DS now!
nrmblogo.png

It is not final, but it is close to being final... There are a few more parts of the logo that need to be edited (there are 5 total, I think), and one of them may not be ready by the next demo...

edit: fixed the below problem and updated image... still more graphics to edit, though...

(if you are wondering what the wierd stuff between some of the letters is, it's the regular NSMB logo hiding behind the NRMB logo... Should be fixed by release...)

Edit: has the 3rd coin in 1-1 moved from the second 'Pit'?
Whoops! I will fix that in next release... I had corrupted 1-1, so I had to rely on a very old backup (December 12)...
Is it fixed in Demo 2.51? I still can't find the third coin...
Nope, sorry... Fixing right now...

Update:

Now that the logo is stabilized on most (all?) flashcarts, I have started back on the levels... I now have 2-2 and 2-3 done, and am ~½ way done with 2-4. (all SMB)... Due to the level 2-4 of NSMB being in the strange place that it is (inside the ROM, not on the map inside the game), it will take some extensive hacking to get Bowser to work... (that, or I give you a FlagPole, I'm not sure yet...)

Either way, the logo has been completed with all but one image, which will be really hard to do with the available utilities... Don't expect it in Demo 3, but maybe in Demo 4...

Bowser's sprite in the game is so picky about what levels he can be in, it makes my headaches worse...

Anyway, expect Demo 3 within a week (or so), and videos might be up within a few days.

(Underwater level was fun...)

Oh yeah, what up with the above-water blooper? It was either end of W1 or start of W2...
If you play SMB2 (jpn) or SMB: LL (Virtual Console / Super Mario All-Stars in US (and EU?)), when you play 1-3, you will see them.

HE HAS SPOKEN!

Am I missing something here?

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
