Does your New Nintendo 2DS XL also has (a) dead pixel(s)?

I got a brand new Nintendo 2DS XL yesterday and after only 2 days of use, it already has a (possible) dead pixel.
I tried dry towels, I tried wet towels, I tried several one of those "dead pixel fixers", running for 2 hours, but nothing works.
Is this common, or is this something else than a dead pixel?

You might need to tilt your screen in order to see a dot with lower transparentcy. When you look with an eye, the dot is mostly black.

LCDs can have dead pixels from the beginning and manufacturers tend to call this "normal". Often they refuse to repair/replace under warranty and say: "A number of X dead or stuck pixels have to be tolerated and are not considered a defect." Nintendo did so for the Switch.

These "repair programs" can help if the pixel is partially working or stopped working recently but shows sometimes a bit of reaction. However if a pixel is complete black an never shows anything, it's unlikely these apps would do anything.

To be honest I can't see much on your photo -- just a part that looks a little darker. On the picture it does not look like a dead pixel, but I know how hard it is to take pictures of a screen.

You could try to return the console under warranty. But if you already installed B9S this might even be harder or you would have uninstall cfw (which is not a good idea if you changed anything on the system apps). See here:

If you have modified critical system software (such as editing the home menu, unbanning your console, etc), uninstalling CFW may BRICK your device!

It's not softmodded so, bleh, I can return it.
I just find it kind of wrong that Nintendo refuses repairs. I also speculate something could be bewteen the plastic barrier and the screen, like a dust part.
Anyway, here's an image with a better view.
