1. Depends on how far you are from finishing the game. If you are near completion then a new beta isn't necessary.luckwii said:Gonna post some more screenshots of some of the new levels in the next couple days. I have been working a lot lately. After that, all of my free time has gone into the game.
If there is anyone else interested in beta testing, send me a PM.
I still have a couple more levels I want to build. A lot of levels have been changed and improved.
I want to ask GBATempers a couple things.
1. I was going to finish the game around this time, but decided to add a bunch of new levels. Do you guys thin I should release one more beta?
2. I am thinking about adding a story into the game. What do you think about this?
Ah alright.luckwii said:There will be another in the next couple days. maybe even tomorrow. A lot has changed since the last rev I sent you.
Ah, I see.luckwii said:I think I deleted that one. I have kept the publicly released betas, but the tester versions get deleted after everyone downloads them.
Nice, can't wait to try it.luckwii said:I sent out a revision to the beta testers. It was pretty buggy as I have been focusing on building levels more than anything else. But, more than anything, it was to catch them up on how the game is overall. There were a lot of new levels in it that they had not seen.
Been busy at work this week, so I have only tested and fixed bugs. I am trying to get a more stable beta release so we can get a final test version together. There are levels I need to add enemies in still, and levels that I want to add coins, bricks, and more things to do.
There is virtually no Mario graphics left in the game except the game maps, and the Mario characters. There are no Mario levels at all. No Mario powerups either.
It may be tough for the beta testers to talk to much or to know what to talk about since most of the game details are spoilers. Each level is either a new game, or has something new to it.
I have been able to add a feature that New Super Mario Bros. does not have.
