ROM Hack Question New Horizons 1.10.0 Update Required Firmware

Hey guys,

I'm seeing that the 1.10.0 update requires 12.0.1 firmware. I know this can sometimes be lowered by installing though TinFoil.

Does anybody know if this can be lowered, or is 12.0.1 still required? (The game currently tells me "The software was closed because an error occurred")

Atmosphere 0.19.2 and FW 11.0.1

if youre on atmosphere,just update to 12.0.1 with daybreak,you can always downgrade if you want.

its just some homebrew need to update their software,but most homebrew doesn't interest me,emulators i can play on other consoles.

Yeah I'll probably end up updating soon. Was just wondering if there was another option as well.

I used SAK to patch the update NSP. Is there a good way to tell what FW is required for a particular NSP?

EDIT: Yes sigpatches are updated. This is the only game giving me issues.

not that i'm aware of,just searched for it,nsc builder can do that,but its command line

*Sigh*

I swear I go through this with every update. I have mods for ACNH and always forget to update them after an update, so the game crashes. It probably would have worked on 11.0.1 (looking at the required version) but hey, at least I'm on 12.0.1 now for anything that needs that in the future.
