We've developed a new format, that completely populates a "downloaded" release with all metadata about that dump, media info and more. All uploads will now begin to include this file for database population reasons.
All those who know of this community can begin to use these files for ROM research, file information/origin and more or release preparation.
Filename: /metadata.storrents
The format will be widely accepted across the platform, and this format will extended over time and hopefully evolve.
Example format:
We have written a parser that reads the data and automatically populates the ID on site, with everything needed to identify all aspects of that NSP, XCI or NSZ file(s).
We do not condone any illegal sharing or references to links or other content. This is strictly a metadata format we designed to accommodate safer and detailed file data that enters the "wild".
Server will be handling these files automatically, providing they are included with the release in question. Feel free to populate them yourself (edit with notepad) and include them where they can live with their respective release!
