Since the E3 announcement, Camelot have been very tight-lipped about it. No new information had been announced. Like you, I am actually going to buy this game (a first in years).

Ten bucks says this will be on the next handheld system.

We won't see this in English until early 2011 at best.

I doubt it, you can never beat the original GS games.

you can:. look at final final fantasy, total fans of the series have nostalgic memories to the past titles and whenever the question of the best part comes up they choose ff 7, ff7 is crap, ffX is best,
so golden sun ds might be

im looking forward to this, definitely one of the games that will be bought
p.s aren't sure whether it will be released till' the end of the first quarter 2010

Says who?
Remember Chrono Trigger? (J) had English language.

I'm so tempted to buy this, and I probably will, but I'll only play this on teh flashcart.
Still this is a game you'll want to support

+booklets are always cool

Fingers crossed for some preorder extra's to seal the deal.

You lost ten bucks already. Nintendo said at E3 2009 the US release would be in 2010.

If anyone want a rough estimate, between 2010/01/01 and 2010/12/31. It will be release between those.

@jos7960-

I don't doubt that we'll see a US release, and maybe soon after the Japanese version. But Chrono Trigger is not the best example.

1- it was a port of an old SNES game already in English
2- A US version was announced almost right after the Japanese version was announced
3- They worked on the translation at the same time as the Japanese version
4- The US version released only a couple of days after the Japanese version. Both regions actually had identical games (the language just changed depending on your DS' region.

Well just to be fussy, it wasn't a port it was a complete remake with a new translation.
And technically each region had different piracy protection!

I'd hardly call a slightly new translation and a couple of new dungeons a complete remake at all. It was just a port, using the original graphics and sound from either the SNES or PS1 version. A true remake would be the Final Fantasy 3 and 4 DS versions. They don't share much similarity at all to the original games. Even Kirby Super Star Ultra (which is still 2D) has more changes than Chrono Trigger.

As for the piracy protection, I know nothing about that.
