Hacking New Ftpii 0.0.16 now with dvd/game disc support !

ftpii is an FTP server for the Nintendo Wii.

changelog:

20081126 0.0.16 Added support for wiimote power button.
Added SITE MOUNT and SITE UNMOUNT commands.
Added SITE EJECT command to eject DVD.
Added ISO9660 DVD support (libiso).
Added Wii Optical Disc image support (libwod).
Added Wii disc filesystem support (libfst). (thanks Nuke!)

you can now dump your games to your pc over ftp and like instert a dvd movie and then copy the movie to your pc

i use ftpii quite often, usually when iv'e lost my reader, or digicam is in use ha, btw, what free ftp client do any of use, use?
i use core ftp lite, but the transfer rate isn't as good as some others, also some other clients dont show up data files etc, e.g. files that are not in folders aswell, that's why i use ftp lite..

I use FileZilla Client but haven't tried any others. Works good but a bit slow.

Filezilla kept saying invalid password when I sent ftpii over sendelf

I use winscp. Works well and looks a lot like Windows Explorer, which is good for the noobs out there!

EDIT: What kind of speeds are people getting dumping games over this?

I couldn't mount a Wii Game, a DVD worked well, but no .wod did mount over this, strange..!!

Yeah I have a wii game in my disc drive but it won't show up on my computer. Strange...

cheers guys, just i search on google, and downloaded about 4/5 and most of these i have already tested, don't any of use notice, some of these ftp clients don't show up data files if not in folders?

I have to agree 98%. I do get some problems with the FTP part, as there is no resume function it some time wont upload files. I use filezilla for my serious FTP'ing

I've got the ftp part installed and running just fine.
What else needs to be done and/or installed to dump games ?

Total Commander does have a resume function. Just try to copy the file again and it will ask you if you want to overwrite or resume, IIRC.

That said, Total Commander is flat out the best file-managing prog ever, not only FTP. Especially compared to the default Windows explorer thing.
