Hacking New 3DS XL Hardmod attempt issues (Boot Err, Detection)

Good evening/morning,

I recently hardmodded my new 3ds xl, and when I try to connect the usb reader to the computer, it fails to recognize any drive/disk/files. I also get error code
00F800FE 00000000 00000000 00000400 00000000 when I boot with my sd card in the reader, and if my sd card is not in the reader, it launches normally (however the top screen is black and the touchscreen doesn't work)
I've removed all cards, like microsd and game card. I tried reinstalling Win32DiskImager. The card reader, when plugged in, shows as 2 devices, Removable Disk (G: and H: ), both of them prompting to insert a disk when trying to open, and properties show that there is no data (0 bytes) on it.

SD reader: Anker 3.0 USB Card Reader (Model AR200)

My guess is my soldering went wrong for an area like CLK or maybe I burned off something. (I'm quite confident that I have not)
