Hacking New 3ds update problem

first of all, hi i'm new so don't really know how the forum works but this is kinda urgent so pls forgive me this time.


my problem is that i've got the "failed to apply 1 firm patch etc." problem despite my 3ds not being an hacked version can i fix it or...?

Update 11.8 broke Luma 9.0 and lower. 9.1 fixed it.
When you have luma 9.0 and lower and are on 11.8, you get this error code. Then just replace old luma with 9.1 or higher, where it is fixed.

Yup. Download boot.firm and replace the old one on root of the SD.

Update 11.8 broke Luma 9.0 and lower. 9.1 fixed it.

while what you say may be true the op then needs to understand basic terms

despite my 3ds not being an hacked version

so either its hacked and his post makes sense or i take his word and it makes no sense

That error message is too much coincidental of 11.8 firmware breaking luma3ds v9.0

3DS system update 11.8 is out and breaks Luma3DS, do not update until a fix is released!

That error message is too much coincidental of 11.8 firmware breaking luma3ds v9.0

3DS system update 11.8 is out and breaks Luma3DS, do not update until a fix is released!

i am not debating the accuracy of the advice but if/when seeking help it helps if you know the environment you are working in and the op seem to be sure that he has no cfw . . . i just want the op to be clear/understand his position

99% sure your console is hack, if it isn't hacked you wouldn't get the 1 firm patch thing, good idea to show us what is on your SD card.

Understood. It's just weird he's not fulfilling your request providing proof of SD card screenshot. We're here needlessly debating / believing his 3DS is hacked or not when he could clear this up for us.

hmm I don't get how you get firm 0/1 not apply when you are on stock firmware, did you shut off when it updating?

Why you have this inside the "Nintendo 3DS" folder? it should only be a folder with a bunch random characters and numbers and a folder name private.
