Is it already possible to upgrade the Emunand on the New 3DS with GATEWAY 3.1.0 ULTRA PUBLIC BETA to the latest firmware (9.5)? And will the Emunand Tool be able to make a backup from the Emunand of the New 3DS soon? Because i tried it and i still get an error "Unknown Size".
Thanks in advance! :)

Emunand 9.5 is NOT supported on the N3DS (working fine on old 3DS). Read here why:

I dont know if it is a good idea to upgrade now to 9.5. Should i wait until Emunand Tool support the New 3DS?

GW3D-VER 9.5.0-23E is not shown due to a bug. Use this tutorial to get around it:

Ask the author of the tool when he thinks it will be ready and then decide what to do.

Interesting, i use a 16 GB micro SD card and when i boot in Emunand i see a GW3D..... (Im on 9.0.0-20E)
Then you should be fine. It works for some, for some don't and I would never upgrade my firmware version if I didn't see GW3D in front of it.

The GW3D bug seems to be related to Micro-SD speed/Class.

From what I tested and other post on this forum, SanDisk Ultra (Class 10) seems to be the best ones, no GW3D bugs with them at all.
