There's a little rip in the ribbon for the dual outer cameras (New 2ds xl), this has to be what's causing
solid blue light and black screens. Well at least one reason! I have a couple outer cameras from orig. 2ds, but
the tiny wires running through the ribbon cable look like a slightly different configuration, and the cable is a bit
longer due to different design. I'm scared to just try it anyway? lo_0l

Can anyone point me to parts compatibility for the New 2ds xl?
(I don't see this part on aliexpress and ebay only has one used one atm) THanks!

If you unplug the broken cable and turn on your 2DS does anything happen?
If you're going to replace the cameras you should use a New 2DS XL compatible camera and the old 2DS cameras probably won't work

If I remove the broken cable, same thing, blue light stays lit and blank screens

This looks damaged, at the bottom there.. would this be the only culprit? I want to say if one of the screens was bad, then the blue light wouldn't even come on, right?

If one of the screens was bad it would turn on and flash the other screen white and the speakers would make a popping sound and then it immediately shuts down

That's what I thought. So it's the (dual) cameras ribbon cable broken that is preventing the screens from powering on? Everything else looks fine
(This is my 1st rodeo w/ the New 2dsxl, but I've fixed a handful of o3dsxl and n3dsxl) Thanks so much for your help!~
