actually the concept is more like a spell book which is dedicated to controlling your own personal creature.
not too strange of a concept right? from the anime, more spells are readable from the book as the characters "level up" kinda.

like i said, the anime is actually pretty good.
as i understand it, this series has been going all-out recently, with lots of handheld toys, a cards game, video toys, gashapon (those little plastic figures), etc.

i'm guesssing it's only in jap..
No surprise there. Unless of course, it becomes as popular as the likes of Yu Gi Oh, DragonBall etc. Then it'll make it to the US and maybe, just maybe to the UK too.

My guess, Japan only. You might find it popular with with the fansub community though. This is the first time I ever heard of the title or even just read up on it

At first the idea of a fighting game, well, based on out reading your opponent while crazy little demon/robot things run to and fro sounded kind of intresting. Then saddly the drugs and alchohol started to wear off and this just became another really bad jap game that god willing will never see an American release. Although Im sure there are probably tens upon tens of people clammoring for this stink fest of a game to get an English translation they will undoubtedly be dissappointed. The best thing about this game was hmmmm it was free and I only wasted three or four minutes of my life on it. The worst thing would have to be that this may have been the worst fighting game Ive played on a portable system since Pit Fighter for the original GB and plus I will never be able to get those three or four precious minutes of my life back. . . . .

again, it's more for a younger audience, but i think it's a pretty well-produiced anime.
BTW, it's not really fair to call it an anime, because it originates from a manga....

I would say so too by the looks of it. Not my type of Anime.

The majority of Anime starts off as a Manga though. To name a few, GetBackers, Fushigi Yuugi, Hitsuji no Uta, Ayashi no Ceres and Kare Kanojo no Jijou (AKA KareKano) started off as Manga. Nowadays you get quite a few shows coming from "ADV" games too.

- Edit -

Just finished playing it. Seems like a good Anime after all. I'd say this game gives players a small taste of what the series is like.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
