This one got me aswell. On the same screen with the dwarves and gandalf, and the stone ogres. At the bottom of that screen. Its a rock you push,not pick up, if i remember correctly.

Well, according to the book, Bilbo never got in the barrels. Instead, he became "Barrel Rider" (a name significant later in the book). The rest of the game seems to be a good translation of the book, so I fail to see why he wouldn't be Barrel Rider here too.

As to bandidoquest, I don't know. In the book Bilbo found a cave easily, so it's possible that you maybe overlooked it.

By the way, am I the only one who's analyzed the name "Bilbo Baggins" into its roots and found that in that name, Tokien more or less coded the entire story of the Hobbit? "Bilbo" alone is derived from the old English word for a short sword, and was used metaphorically for one with a sharp wit, who possibly uses it dangerously. The "Baggins" part describes his roles over the course of the book, too, from wealthy ("bagg" = old English money pouch), tea-loving ("baggins" relates to midafternoon tea, also in old English) hole-dwelling (borough/burrow) houseowner (Burgher) to thief (burglar) to distributor ("bag man" in criminal terms of the turn of the century). ...Sorry, etymology is a hobby of mine, and apparently one of Tolkien's as well considering he admitted to a fair bit of that..

At the barrels, stand on the trap door and throw a rock at the button.

The "safe" cave is found after you fall down the hole.

heyya, maybe someone can help. I'm in the goblin's caves and I'm stuck completely there seems to be no way out of it, does anyone know where to go? And I already looked at gamefaqs...they got nothing

yep i like it... remind me a lot of the Hobbit story, for all those of you who didn't read it yet... Go this si the prequel of all The Lord of The Rings story : the story of Bilbo who grabs the ring. Go get it the book is marvellous.
