Is there a homebrew that allows you access a computer network and steam movies and music to the wii?

I have MPlayer CE already and it works really great but I'm not sure how I would access the network from it.

Theres a configaration file you need to edit. You need to write all your smb information. On there google code. I think they have a tutorial. Do you already have smb set up on your computer?

Is the smb the sharing setup on your computer? Sorry, I'm a noob at these things

If You use windows, just check "Share this folder" in folder settings.
Then in SMB.conf change settings to put in your IP and folder name etc.

Also put yuor user name, And a password if you have one. Lol when i first did this i couldnt set it up at all. It took me a few days.

I think its in your mplayerce folder inside the apps folder. Just edit it with a text editor.
