NES Emulation problem on N3DS XL

Usually I have no issues with simply injecting NES games through NSUI, but for some reason the specific game "Elite" (The NES version) will always display completely off center with the bottom quarter off-screen. Troublesome when that's where the UI is. The game also seems to attempt to make text out of certain graphics (like the ribbon in the title menu) or the wireframe models.

I've tried installing a variety of emulators for it to no avail. I'd appreciate any help!

Try virtuanes standalone, or go ahead and open it with retroarch, which should definitely work.

I don't really have any emulators to recommend per se, but Elite on NES is a PAL-only release. That means it will run at a different speed than intended on NTSC machines/emulators, and with garbled graphics at that
