But I'm having the same problems as Acid Faux had, but it's on 0.5 version. 0.4 works fine on my fat32. I have cios 202, and ios 58, but in NeoCD redux 0.5, i'm having this problems:

Great work Wiimpathy! Thanks a lot for perfecting this emulator, it took me a while to get it to work, but when I finally did I was thrilled!

I have one small problem though, maybe someone can give me some advice, I have no problem loading games from the SD card, but when I try to load the same games from an external HDD I can't select a folder, it jumps directly to the bios boot up screen, and then I get a "NO IPL.TXT" error. It's a 500gb disc with one partition in NTFS and the other in FAT32, I tried placing the files in both partitions but I keep getting the same problem, maybe it's the dual partition that's screwing it up?

Thanks in advance and sorry for bad english(brazilian, hehehe).

I'll probably check out the injected version of Blazing Star instead.

But seems like in this revesion of emu we have another (and new problem) with picture. From one side, there is no graphical glitch with sprites, that appears from left side of screen. From another side, picture is shifted to the right and looks cropped.

Thanks for the update , I like many have a new issue running this one , the emulator starts and the says NO IPL the loads the start screen again. So for now going back to version 4 it worked just fine.

I have the cios202 and ios58 installed as someone mention before already ,, any help on this Wiimpathy it would be appreciated.

The emulator is looking for a neocd folder on sd card by default. Try changing this in your neocd.xml in apps/neocd :


0 for games on SD card

to

1 for games on USB


You can also change the default games folder in the xml file by replacing the value="neocd/" by value="YourFolder/".
I'm sorry, I didn't put any alternative in this case, and it's impossible as it is, to change these values in the emu.


Regarding the video, I know about this problem. The fix for black screen is not good from the beginning. Moreover, I added a stupid code that widen and shift the screen.
It would be better if someone more serious than me, and who can test on new 16:9, do the video part(or maybe everything!).
I"ll do my best waiting for someone that want to help or take this project. Please give me some time cause I'd like to do other things too.

Can somebody post a screenshot showing the correct file/folder game structure on the SD card.
