This means:
- Get Trucha Bug Restorer
- Load IOS249(or any other IOS with trucha bug or that ignores signing)
- Go to the IOS36 menu
- Select all 4 patches
- Select to install to IOS236

Then then use IOS236 for all cIOS/cMIOS/channel or whatever installers, also for WAD Manager, and you will have no further issues with them.

what's to test now?

Right now nothing. I don't think i made changes that fix any currently not working games. If you had an usb gecko, you could do something on the games that don't work because of missing MIOS patches. An example for that would be Wind Waker NTSC-U, it freezes on opening the mini map. With an usb gecko, and a special mod of WiiGator's loader, you could check what the MIOS does to fix it.

If you want to know if MIOS has patches for a certain game, just download MIOS and let NUS downloader decrypt it. Then look at the .app file with an hexeditor and look for the 1st 3 digits of the disc id. If you find it, that could mean that MIOS patches that game.

sorry, I don't have a usb gecko.

I don't have wind waker, but if I get a retail game of it somewhere and if you give me instructions how I can use the USB gecko, I would gladly do some testing for you

I was messing about with DOP-Mii and noticed that DOP-Mii says that I have MIOS v1 installed, I was just wondering if this is what version of the MIOS I should have installed in my Wii, or does it even make a difference since I used the cMIOSWiiGator to add patches?

No, that's correct. WiiGator's cMIOS will install as v1 or v65535 if you activate the option.

Thanks, I didn't know that the cMIOS installer installed MIOS v1. I learn something new everyday.

I have a problem.. I installed the beta 38 and when I run it from the homebrew it shows beta 38.. but when I try to launch from the channel it launches as beta 8. How do I fix this?

@malaac

Get the forwarder channel here. Make sure the sd card is inserted when you run the channel.

Thanks.. now why is it I can't get a Gamecube multidisk to work with b38? worked fine with the old B8 version. What needs upgraded or that to work?

Secono once in a Gamecube game how do I exit? Is the only method to use the physical power button on the WII itself?

Last when launching game from gamecube launcher the game runs fine.. try to run from NeoGamma and it reports game has audio streams expect missing audio.

WiiPower,
I was just curious if you have plans to include IOS Selection Choices in the Options. Similar to the USBLoaders, so we can select which IOS to use to boot some problem games (222,223,224,248,249,250 or 251) ? (I have no idea if this is easy to do, or really difficult, just curious as I believe it would be a handy addition)

Also, do you plan on incorporating updating Neogamma from within the program itself ? (Again, i do not know how hard this would be to do)

Thanks for any answers offered and, of course, for a great Backup Loader :>
