Okay, I know that you can send a emulator or cartridge save file to the 3DS, but is there a way to do the opposite?

My attempt to do that with a Pokemon Silver save in order to use Gameshark codes gives the Error "Failed to read RTC from save game"

Alternatively is there a way to add gameshark functionality to a VC game?

Or is there a 2nd Gen save editor that allows you add the Teru-Sama items to the item pocket, particularly the one that transforms into GS Ball when traded to Crystal. I can't seem to figure out how to do it with PKHex if there even is a way.

I know I could just try to use Arbitrary Code Execution to get it, but I'd rather not.

Im not sure what tools are available for Pokemon hacking, but I do know that the vc uses the same save format as most emulators. Try extracting the save and opening it up in vba, then saving. Maybe it could make more tools work? I'm just throwing out ideas.

I am using a exported .dat file from JKSM and trying to import it onto a ROM of silver on Visual Boy Advance, but it says ""Failed to read RTC from save game" when I go to import it.

rename the file form .dat to .SAV and use the VBA to import battery :), also when exporting back to 3ds format, use VBA to export battery and rename the .SAV back to .dat and import it back with JKSM

Okay, the data keeps getting corrupted when I try to put it back onto the 3DS, is there any way to fix that?
Your save should be 32-33kb and end in 0x8000. If it's less, just add 10 bytes to the end. If it goes to 0x8020 just delete the last two lines of code in HxD.

That Dell data breach is worse than people probably realize....
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
