Along with all the other recommendations, I think you should head over to romhacking dot net and check out ALL of their NES translation patches. There are some awesome, sweet games in there you'd never hear about otherwise. Like Just Breed--Fire Emblem and Dragon Quest together in one game!

But really, that, and their hacks for the NES. You're bound to find some fun in there with a little searching

Well since we're doing this again.

Earthbound Zero (NES) and Earthbound (SNES). Playing Mother 1 (Japanese release of Earthbound Zero) on the GBA cart with the English fan translation applied, and it's great.

the japanese version of contra is 10 times better, there is an english translation patch for it.

I do always look up rom hacking website because I always go check and see any new hack and translation.

I did play nes version but it is really hard because....it is bs. In GBA version, much better with English translation. Als I do play SNES version. It is not really that bad. It good.

From the ones that usually fly under the radar:

- Shatterhand / Tokkyuu Shirei - Solbrain
- TMNT Tournament Fighters
- Clash at Demonhead
- Journey to Silius / rAf World
- Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers 1 & 2 (probably the best co-op on the NES in my opinion, I finished no.2 repeatedly with my friend back in the day, we loved it to bits)
- Metal Gear (The MSX version is far superior, however the NES one includes some variation from the original, so it's still worth a look)

Will add to the list if I come up with more titles, I need to browse through my Famiclone cartridges.

Holy...crap....I like that walking sprite. It look perfect. I will give a try to play this game.
