Can anyone tell me on how to put videos on my ds and what are the things that i need to download.

I haven't done this in a while but it probably still works the same:
1.) Get moonshell or any other DS video player, and install on your flashcard.
2.) Convert any video you want to .DPG format. Several converters are available, not sure which is best. Try search for a good/updated one. Preferably convert movies to 24FPS or something like that.
3.) Put the video on the flashcard and play.
I watched some Southpark episodes like half a year ago, it was quite good quality but the converting part is hell annoying. You might want to download pre-converted videos, from for example http://gbatmw.net (GBA TheMovieWay, register in order to see the video-download-forums.). Good lucj
