Homebrew Need Help With Save File Dump/Restorer

So, after reading someone's post about a .sav file (gba) dumper/restorer, i dumped my .sav with the program, went to my pc, and edited it with Visual Boy Advance. Then i wanted to restore the updated .sav to my gba cart, BUT: there where two options: (A) :Restore data in Card from SAV file and (B) SAVE area of ROM is initialized. I'm using a Eeuropean version of Golden Sun, if that helps.
Edit 1: Think i know what's gone wrong, forgot to export the file...
Edit 2: Got it working with an older version of the program, could someone close this thread?
