Yeah, you should be fine as far as Nintendo discovering anything modified. If they send you a new console it might not be exploitable though.

In this OP's case that's probably for the best.

Well first off did you install auto rcm? If you did the switch will not turn on by normal means and will not charge just fyi

Do you have a pro dongle or are you using your pc / phone?

You need to make sure any xci or nsp files are on the root of the sd card

You should be using 1.4 since its the latest addition.

Once you booted and are in albums use the r trigger to get to your nsp files. Click on to install and select sd or internal nand. Once done exit out and they should be playable on the home screen. Xci files will be the first thing you see when you enter album and will overwrite the card slot so be sure you dont have a physical cart in there

FYI: if anyone searches for this on line and lands here about the black screen of death. All you have to do is plug the dongle back in and boot it. Apparently if anything goes wrong with the FW mode you get a black screen. I wasted a lot of money and time on that. Hope it save someone...

Rcm Mode is not a black screen of death. You've just been stubborn as hell. It was even pointed out to you.

Now for you new comers if you dont listen to what you are being told then we will not waste our time trying to explain over and over..
State your problem,your hardware, your system, and what you did for it to break or not work.

A few more questions, they may be dumb doe
How long is the backup process?
If i enter RCM mode can i disconnect the USB Cable from my pc?
Can you do this process while charging your switch?

One thing at a time slow your ass down,
Be polite and give as much information as possible...
Your switch does not boot now ?
black screen ?
Did you use auto rcm ?
does your sxos dongle work?
