Hacking Need help with Project M

I did all the steps on their website for the Homebrew method, and I just get the default screen for Smash Bros. Brawl.

My things,

System Menu 4.3U
I'm running Smash Bros. as an ISO off my USB drive (NTFS)
I'm running the loader (USBLoader GX) off my USB drive (FAT32, I don't have any SD cards)

It didn't work also as I also got random freezes if I picked a certain character in the list, for example, there was a Wario with a different thumbnail, I moved my cursor over it and it froze.

Please help, I do not want to have to wait until June for my money in order to get an SD card, I want to do this now...

Well if you have the original brawl disc, you could try loading it through the project m launcher on homebrew. Put the project m launcher in your apps folder and the rest on the HDD root. Hope this works for ya

UPDATE: Srry this method probably won't work as I think the launcher reads from SD
