Gaming Need For Speed: World Online for PC

EA revealed that it has plans for a PC-only Need for Speed MMO, which will also be free to play like the advertising-supported cartoon online shooter, Battlefield Heroes (which are excepting beta applications at the moment. battlefield-heroes-beta-key-signup). It launches in Asia later this year and the rest of the world next year.

Also announced at the same time was Need For Speed: Shift which will be for 360 and PS3 and comes from the makers of GT Legends and GTR 2 and arcade style racer Need For Speed: Nitro for the Wii and DS.

i dont see a lot of racer MMOs on the PC(unless ive been oblivious to the world)
