Working swell here. I was on 3.2U, than upgraded to 4.0U with method 2. As my d2ckey chip is installed for the jap region I can't run any games thru disc channel however I got this fixed with Startpatch 4. Also had to reinstall all my wads as I'd to convert them to ntsc-U region with Wad Region Converter. No problems moving them to SD or running off of it. Hopefully an updated version of Startpatch or Anyregion Changer comes out that makes my wii fully region free on 4.0.

It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
