So, last night my switch was working perfectly fine. Wake up today? It won't display on my TV. I've tried unplugging all the cables letting the power cycle. I even tried another switch on the same dock. That other switch worked perfectly fine. This current one I'm using doesn't. The only thing I can think of is something on the motherboard isn't working now. I can connect the switch through the usb-c port perfectly fine on my computer, it charges properly too. Only TV display doesn't work, does anyone have any solutions? I might have to take it to a repair shop.

Thanks for any help.

It can be either the Switch, the dock, the HDMI cable or your TV.
That you have no problems with connecting it to a PC does not exclude the Switch itself.
When you connect the Switch to a PC it goes into USB mode. This seems to work.
When you connect it to a dock, it goes into a video mode where it sends the video signals over the same USB-C port to the dock.
That component can be defective.

Easiest thing would be to stick the Switch in someone elses dock.
Then you can exclude the dock, HDMI cable and TV.
If you go to a repair shop, just take your dock with you as well.

Nah, a hit gives them mad meth powers, but makes them more difficult to control.

Just found out he's doing alright, doing a lot of complaining too, rightfully so. Who wouldn't complain after having a seizure and being hospitalized?
