Hacking NAND WITH NEW MOBO

hello my wii bricked and i got a new mobo can i replace with with my old nand and download my old games

It should work. Be wary that the Wii's NAND is a TSOP component.
You must have really good soldering skills (and equipment) to pull this out.

hey i backed up my nand with bootmii can i just flash it with the old one

Most likely the new NAND won't let you install BootMii, since they've fixed boot1 in new Wiis.

When he says "Download his old games", he means shop titles? If so, install preloader for protection then go get a few wads. Doesn't take long, and most games are out there if you know where to look.

If he means save data...well, he'll have to start over or download completed saves if he chooses.

Using betwiin will just convert your brick to the new wii
