Remember Nanashi no Game? I do. I remember being scared shitless by it. It actually accomplished what Dementium, Silent Hill, and all the Resident Evil games couldn't- frighten me. Personal story over, a new video has been released for the now-announced sequel Nanashi no Game 2 There is now what appears to be a cursed 8-bit platformer in it. Just as much creepy 3D goodness and 8-bit RPG as ever though it seems. Video below-

Coming 8-27-09 for Japan. Too bad Square Enix can't realize that Americans like to buy survival horror games. We might have had a really cool game too. For now both games will likely remain Japan only. Unless someone dedicated decides to pull a Tales of Innocence and hack it.
