And @Makoto, I have both Black and White US Retail carts and they do indeed show a 24 hour clock.

Really? That's so weird... I wonder why they would change it in the US version FROM the time system we use...

A quick question for those who BOUGHT the US game (no ROM answers, please)...

On your C-Gear, does the clock show 12-hour time (with AM or PM) or 24-hour time?

I ask because the Japanese version had 12-hour time, yet the clock in my supposedly-US version is 24. I think Europe uses 24-hour time, but it wouldn't make sense for the US version to have 24-hour time when everyone IN the US uses 12-hour time, and no change would even be necessary.

If it is indeed 12-hour, the "US" ROMs leaked may in fact be European.

Everyone with the retail game has reported it's a 24 hour clock.

Glad I have the NDS Adapter Plus from EMS. Supposedly that will back up B&W saves allright, though I haven't tried yet. It works with HgSs, anyway, and those also had the IR port.

Its been reported to. There is a software solution, but its still in alpha. It seems to work for most people. I need to buy a NDS Adapter Plus soon. I might be trading in my Lite for a 3DS, so I can't use that and a 3-in-1 to dump saves and ROMs. There is no way I am going to do it over wifi. Too much of a pain to setup and takes forever.

Just so you know, the NDS Adapter plus does not dump ROMs, only saves.

It does? .... That $30 price tag is looking less appealing now....

Here's an interesting situation: (Apologies if this has been covered before; a cursory search showed nothing similar)
I played through White before I got the retail version of Black. Once I moved my save from White to Black, I discovered that White Forest does not turn into Black City. It remains White Forest in Pokemon Black. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

Some musings: I imagine that both versions have both Black City and White Forest due to the fact that you can visit other people's respective places. Therefore, it is probably a Flag that gets set at the start of the game that determines what your native location is. Hopefully a fix is as easy as flipping this bit, but PokeSav has no options for this.

Edit: A further search shows that there was a similar discussion earlier, but nothing came of it. A user was wondering about moving saves between E White and U Black. From experience, I can say it works fine, except for this one issue. In previous games (D/P, HG/SS) things worked with no problems at all.

Castelia Gym Leader Burgh's Leavanny♂ was screwing me over. I had a Servine and was using Slam (my only non-Grass move). The entire battle with Leavanny happened just as described below.

1. I use 'Slam'. It says 'The foes Leavanny♂ has avoided the attack'.
2. Leavanny♂ uses 'Struggle Bug'. I'm down to 1/3 of my maximum HP.
3. I use 'Slam', yet again since it's my only move that isn't a Grass-type.
3. Leavanny♂ uses 'Protect'.
4. I use 'Slam', yet another time. The game says 'The foes Leavanny♂ has avoided the attack'.
5. Leavanny♂ uses 'Struggle Bug'. I'm down to less than 2/3 of my maximum HP.
6. I'm out of medicine so I use 'Slam', yet again. The game says 'The foes Leavanny♂ has avoided the attack'.
7. Leavanny♂ uses 'Struggle Bug'. Servine faints and I lose the battle because all of my other Pokemon have either fainted or are under Level. 15.

To make a long story short, I hate Leavanny♂.

Nope since you would need to use DS download play and I don't think you can do it on a flashcard, but I could be wrong.

Whats in your team? I lucked out in that fight as I used sleep powder using petilil and then sent out my pansear(only fire type i have so far) and just spammed incinerate. I don't use pansear in my team though as I only used it for that gym and the first one.

My First EV'd Team Of GEN V

Introduction:
This team is for 2 uses.In Game and Casual battling, since I find competitive boring and almost everybody using the same stuff, Im just going to casual battle.That means no tiers or anything with this team.The team is based around one of my favorite 5th Generation pokemon.. the Nasty Plotting Zoroark.Zoroarks Illusion ability plays a big part here, having 5 Pokemon to scare away the opponent(Disguised as Zoroark), it gives Zoroark time to set up and rip up the opponent.Zoroark will have the support of bulky pokemon and power sweepers like Haxorus to weaken the opponents team.

Team Building Process:

Whats the point of a Team called Zoroark Master Of Illusions without the Illusionist himself, welcome Zoroark one of my most loved Gen V Pokemon.

Volcarona was a perfect Zoroark partner resisting all types effective against it and having only one weakness, combined with Butterfly Dance it is a force to be reckon with.

Basically I need something to Fly and im not gonna change this guy plus he is a good physical attacker.

I had 2 pokemon taking Super effective damage from Rock so Golurk fits right in, if you check out his resistances to bug and fight, he serves as a another great zoroark partner.

Need something to surf with of course.

Your RND generator must be shot. Hasn't been that bad for me.
