Hmmm, then I say it would be safe to use the EU version.

It would seem so. I picked up both Black and White this morning and put the save file I was using with the EUR ROM onto my White Retail cart and it loaded up and worked fine.

Hmm how do you do that? Because i want to buy the game and go on with my save

I use an NDS Adapter Plus. I got it so I could easily rip and restore my HG/SS saves and it works just as well for B/W.

No normal way i see

. Hmm i am not going to give up my save game of Black. Guess i am not buying then

Yeah, the IR port on the carts changed the way the saves are stored on the game cart so the normal ways didn't work anymore. I actually didn't realize that B/W had Infrared until I picked up the games yesterday. Thought I was going to be able to go back to the old ways lol.

Is true but Pokedoc of projectpokemon made this useful homebrew to backup and restore saves for carts with IR devices using Wi-Fi and a ftp client (I use smallftpd) like savsender!!! You can download it here: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthrea...kup-HG-SS-saves

Use 0.2.3 version, is more stable than the other ones and it works for me on my HG cart, and try to use it on a DS / DS Lite... looks like that it have problems on DSi

Sorry. I thought I cut out most of the fluff.

I read something about it too. Sadly I can't seem to find mention of it anywhere in the ROM Hacking and Translations forum. Would like to get the URL as well as.

Glad I have the NDS Adapter Plus from EMS. Supposedly that will back up B&W saves allright, though I haven't tried yet. It works with HgSs, anyway, and those also had the IR port.
Its been reported to. There is a software solution, but its still in alpha. It seems to work for most people. I need to buy a NDS Adapter Plus soon. I might be trading in my Lite for a 3DS, so I can't use that and a 3-in-1 to dump saves and ROMs. There is no way I am going to do it over wifi. Too much of a pain to setup and takes forever.

A quick question for those who BOUGHT the US game (no ROM answers, please)...

On your C-Gear, does the clock show 12-hour time (with AM or PM) or 24-hour time?

I ask because the Japanese version had 12-hour time, yet the clock in my supposedly-US version is 24. I think Europe uses 24-hour time, but it wouldn't make sense for the US version to have 24-hour time when everyone IN the US uses 12-hour time, and no change would even be necessary.

If it is indeed 12-hour, the "US" ROMs leaked may in fact be European.

Just so you know, the NDS Adapter plus does not dump ROMs, only saves.

And @Makoto, I have both Black and White US Retail carts and they do indeed show a 24 hour clock.
