IIRC, Pokemon with a name in English (due to the patch) don't work on Wi-Fi.
Plus, this is Nintendo's official translation. The dialogue is what Nintendo intended. The English patch isn't 100% done, anyways.

I have pre-ordered the game and im gonna wait and not bother with the rom release even when it comes out early and sorry to burst peoples bubbles but don't expect it until like Thursday night but I could be wrong...

I beated it the j one I order both games and the walkthrough guild now all I got to do is wait and change my wifi from wpa to wep then wait 21 days for the 3ds

Yeah same here. I just didn't loaded the J version at all. I promised to myself I will wait for the official EU release because that would be more better then an English patched version.

I have a question for anyone who has played the game already.

Are there any perks to opening my game when i buy it (like how pokemon silver/gold had the pokewalker). I know there isn't any pokewalker but are there features that can only be done on a real cartridge? (i thought there was some thing where you can connect to the pc and do stuff. Will that work on a rom?

Wanted to know since i planned to keep my game sealed, but if I'm going to be opening it i may as well "intend to buy" for the extra club nintendo points.

Europe always get screwed, even if they get a game first. in this case, the guide is late and the US rom is gonna come out before you guys have the game.

Stores here had the game for about two weeks, but still packed in boxes, so lots of people probably have it already.

AFAIK, it takes a few minutes. But a lot of people don't want to risk getting caught, or don't have the right setup to dump it.
