Homebrew N64 emulation on 3DS, is it possible?

I'm kind of a noob to this but I'm wondering about it. Everything I've read about it says no but a new 3DS, couldn't that handle it? Sorry if this is a stupid question

This has been asked a lot of times but oh well..
you can make a N64 emulator but it will not run at a playable speed and will have a lot of glitches because it is not powerful enough
also the n64 emulation on anything is really bad compared to other console so that makes things even more difficult
i hope we get a proper 64 emulator on switch

This would not be possible at any playable speed.

In response to @Rioluwott, we won't get proper N64 emulation on the Switch until we get proper N64 emulation on PC (By proper, I assume you mean perfect)

We won't get proper N64 emulation on the Switch until we have GPU support. Proper and perfect are two different things.

The 3ds, though? Never going to happen.

It is possible, but I’m pretty sure a potatoe might run some of the games faster than the 3ds. Especially the old model.

This is not to say you can't play N64 games on the 3DS.

You use a computer to emulate games and then stream the video back to the 3DS using something like PinBox.

The 3DS has controller output.
