I have a voucher for JB HIFI do you think i could find one there.

Just to make sure i have this right, I have to check the box for the serial number and then check the serial number has 9.2 or below loaded

Yeah you could try JB, only thing is you might not get to look at the serial numbers before buying as the actual consoles for sale are not on display, a staff member will go get you one when you ask (at least, this is what happens in my local store in Tuggeranong, ACT). If you get a nice staff member and explain your situation they might bring out a couple for you to look at. I wouldn't bother with any big stores in shopping centres as they probably move too much stock. If you can find one in a country town or in a fringe suburb you'll have a better chance. Although you don't generally find many JB stores in places with less population. So good luck.

Edit: something else you can try, if you find an exploitable console in a shop (with a change of mind return policy) other than JB, buy one of the same colour in JB and then return the non exploitable one you got at JB to the other place. That way you're able to use your voucher. If you happen to get a second exploitable console you can sell it to one of these guys and make a little profit :-p

Here in Aus you won't have too much trouble finding exploitable units, especially if you buy from like a Target Country or something where stock doesn't get moved very quickly.

See this is why I use unisex references. I always get caught call a dude a chick and vice versa.

Units that are missing the tomodachi life or paper airplane demo we're formatted and put back into the box you have a used unit return it and get a refund.

N3ds or O3ds? Might just be N3ds in which case my mistake.

EDIT: Went back and reread your post, it absolutely is on the box. You had to have just missed it. (Unless maybe it was a special bundle or something)

AFAIK, Aussie boxes don't have the serials on them.

Dunno about JB, but at EB you can sometimes get a nice employee to show you the consoles themselves, unless you're going to country shops where there might be old stock I don't reckon there's much hope though. I've not had any luck, so I'm just going to ebay an o3DS and use that with fingers crossed for progress on newer exploits.

Yeah, the list was originally just US and EU XLs. Then it came to include EU non-XLs; then JP consoles were added. We would need a mod to change the title to just N3DS instead of N3DS XL.
