Hardware n3ds or n3ds xl?

I'm able to choose between a new 3DS and a new 3DS XL. Both 9.0.0 and new (not used). Price is about the same.
I have a tough time choosing between those two.
Which one should I get? Are there pros/cons I should know? What would you do in my situation?

Get the one more comfortable in your hands if you can get a hold of them to try (or demo units in local toy/game stores). I've big enough hands and used to get cramps along my pinky and thumb after playing my old3ds for a while, have a new3ds xl now and no such issues.

i prefer the smaller version it feels more solid and the faceplates, also fits in my pocket better.
