Hardware N3DS (non-XL) Speakers Not Working

Hello,
I am having an issue with an N3DS XL. Everything works fine, but the speakers intermittently cut off if any sort of pressure is exerted on the back of the system. I don't think the volume slider is defective, because the headphone jack works perfectly and flawlessly. It's just the speakers that don't work. Any suggestions?

Hey up. Well I would open the thing up and have a look what's wrong. Guess you mean the back side of the upper panel. That's were the speakers are and were the cables going through. Have a look inside and you'll see what's wrong
