ah well, here we go again.
mysims seems to be another NOT compatible with my precious ds-extreme (i swear im gonna sell this thing!) but unlike most other games there is no "could not access data" screen in the beginning which you cant pass. this issue is kinda weird. when ever i start the game it creates a savefile, so i play for a while - save my game and shutdown my ds.

so when i start the game again trying to resume my savegame it simply overwrites the one i just made with a new blank savegame. that sucks.

is there anything i can do about it? have any of you had the same problem?

It sounds to me like the Pokemon Ranger save issue due to DS-X save compression. I'm not sure whether this will work, just try it:

    1. Play MySims as usual and save.
    2. Reboot your DS, let the EEPROM message to appear. Shutdown your DS.
    3. Backup your save. Uncompress it and copy back to your DS-X, overwritting the compressed one.
    4. Play MySims and report if your save is succesfully recognized.

I think it's a sign to stop playing that crappy, ACWW rip-off game.
