Hello
first time poster.

I have tried to Homebrew my Switch, so I purchased the SX Pro. I used the dongle and installed SX OS. Then the Switch went completely blank.

It simply will not turn on anymore. I tried everything in terms of keeping the power button pressed, but it is blank and dead. What can I do????

Thanks for any help provided.

Definitely autoRCM i think...
I dunno though but try removing sd card and booting?

To check if autoRCM is on just plug computer in to port and if it does the usb sound then you have autoRCM
Just uninstall it using hekate or sx os.

Were you low battery? You could've possibly died in rcm mode, if thats the case leave it plugged in for 1-2 hours and try again to inject.

Actually from having this happen i can tell you this can get quite frustrating. First things first charge your dongle. I would also definitely use tegra smash gui and install the correct drivers blah blah. Does tegra smash see your switch in rcm mode? Do you think it is possible you updated to 8.1.0? If so then you may have basically overwritten your auto rcm! So the above comments wouldnt be helpful if that was in fact your issue. If you have an unpatched unit though you could just use a jig and then boot to sxpro or use a usb cable to pc and load up tegra smash but if auto rcm is gone to my knowledge your uh switch won’t charge unless you get jiggy with it. Make sure to charge your sx dongle periodically. This happened to me many times and then once i got home id charge the dongle and laugh and go of course that makes perfect sense. Not enough electric charge to boot the exploit. But i am confident your switch is not dead!

Put it on the dock charger for about 30 minutes to an hour and then try to boot it from the pc or the dongle adter holding the power button for 15 seconds and turning it back on.

I usually can get my switch to boot after about 3 minutes and I just have it charge with the little battery icon on the top left

This happened to me, and I solved it with these steps:

  1. Make sure the Switch is charged.
  2. Remove right controller.
  3. Plug in the jig.
  4. Plug in the executor dongle on the bottom of the switch.
  5. Hold down the power button for 15 seconds to ensure it's off.
  6. Hold down the volume + button, then (while still holding the volume + button) press the power button for one second, and then release the power button (while still holding the volume + button).

Thank you everybody! Really appreciate all the help from the community.

I tried everything, and it turned that there were two issues:

1) The dongle was not charged. Once it was, I was able to reload the system

2) The SX system was not up the 2.8, which is the only one compatible with 8.1 system
